Uganda United Nations Country Analysis 2025
The UN Country Analysis for Uganda offers a comprehensive, data-driven examination of Uganda’s progress, obstacles and opportunities on its path towards sustainable development. Developed through robust methodologies and extensive stakeholder consultations, the analysis provides essential insights to guide strategic interventions under the upcoming UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026-2030).
The report first provides an introduction and methodology, detailing the participatory approach adopted for the analysis. In Chapter 3, it provides an assessment of Uganda’s progress on each Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), before continuing with an analysis of cross-cutting development challenges and strategic recommendations to accelerate development outcomes. Each chapter utilizes empirical data and diagnostic tools to present actionable policy insights.
The analysis is based on the Five-Ps of the Sustainable Development Goals: People, Peace, Planet, Prosperity and Partnership.
