The Quarterly Economic Digest provides a concise overview of recent economic developments in Uganda, with a focus on their implications for inclusive and sustainable development. Produced by the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office, the digest brings together economic development-related news, combining key facts and figures with short analytical insights. It also features an in-depth thematic piece and incorporates youth perspectives to reflect how economic trends are experienced on the ground.This first issue is framed through the lens of economic inclusion, highlighting how recent developments are shaping access to jobs, services, and livelihoods. It examines both emerging opportunities and gaps, with a particular focus on who benefits from growth and who risks being left behind.
