Theme: Enhancing the Mobilization and Effectiveness of Climate Financing in the Changing Landscape of Development Finance
Kampala, Uganda – 10 June 2025 – The United Nations has released US$2.5 million in emergency funding to scale up life-saving humanitarian assistance for thousands of refugees fleeing violence in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to Uganda.
The national launch of the UNDP Human Development Report (HDR) was held under the theme: “A Matter of Choice: People and Possibilities in the Age of AI.”
